I never in a million years would think this is possible.

Because you underestimate his ability and desire to defile the office.

Btw, what's going on with this?

Maybe it's new to him every time due to dementia?

The surprising part is that he repeatedly says "thank you".

It's not that uncommon to to say thank you after getting a round of applause.

For people capable of experiencing gratitude, yes.

Getting creative!

QuoteOn South Lawn, WH seeks to make a political point by setting up a crane lifting the weights of regulation from the bed of a "red" truck, while showing the burden of regulations weighing down a "blue" truck.

Why such an audience when they brief the president?

At first I thought they were installing giant car fresheners.

One of the (admittedly numerous) reasons I look forward to Trump losing is to prove both the far-right sycophants wrong as well as showcase how dumb the far-left is about Trump's chances against anyone but Bernie.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I fear any far-right sycophant is unlikely to engage in the type of self-reflection that results in them concluding and admitting they were "wrong".
