Looks like Virginia went solidly Dem.

It did not go unnoticed.

Ed Gillespie worked hard but did not embrace me or what I stand for. Don't forget, Republicans won 4 out of 4 House seats, and with the economy doing record numbers, we will continue to win, even bigger than before!

I eagerly await President Trump's tweets when he is in Beijing.

The U.S., under my administration, is completely rebuilding its military, and they're spending hundreds of billions of dollars to the newest and finest military equipment anywhere in the world, being built right now. I want peace through strength!

Anyone who doubts the strength or determination of the U.S. should look to our past....and you will doubt it no longer.

Let's take @EdWGillespie across the finish line tomorrow! Virginia: get out and vote for Ed & entire @GOP ticket #VAGov #VA
5:02 AM - 7 Nov 2017

QuoteAccording to The Hill, a few hours after CNN's Jake Tapper made note of the mistake on his show, Don Jr. once again urged Virginians to go vote, saying that the future of their commonwealth was at stake ... tomorrow.

Virginia, the future of the Commonwealth is at stake tomorrow. Find your polling place at https://t.co/j7EyqNhth4 to vote Ed for #VAGov

Dems are up 13 seats in the House of Delegates. From 34 to 47, with seven seats still counting split 4-3 GOP/Dem. So that would leave the House split 50-50 with a Dem Governor.

Promising sign for 2018 I think.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Was Drumpf right about winning 4 of 4 House seats?  I can't find a link that backs it up or refutes it.

The Rs need to break the glass and do something about Donald or they won't have a happy November next year

4 of 5. Another article notes that he ignores a California race in his count for some reason.

Quote
California's 34th congressional district: Democrat Xavier Becerra resigned to become the Attorney General of California.[2] The primary election was held on April 4, 2017. With no candidate receiving 50% of the vote,[3] a runoff between the top two candidates, Democrats Jimmy Gomez and Robert Lee Ahn, was held June 6. Gomez defeated Ahn 60.1% to 39.9% to become the new representative.

Georgia's 6th congressional district: Tom Price resigned February 10, 2017, to become the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services.[4] A special election was held on April 18, 2017. A runoff was held on June 20, 2017, and was won by Republican Karen Handel.

Kansas's 4th congressional district: Republican Mike Pompeo resigned January 23, 2017, to become Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.[6] A special election was held on April 11, 2017, and won by Ron Estes, the Republican Kansas State Treasurer.

Montana's at-large congressional district: Ryan Zinke resigned March 1, 2017, to become the United States Secretary of the Interior.[8] Republican Greg Gianforte, a businessman and nominee for the previous year's gubernatorial race, defeated Democrat Rob Quist and Libertarian Mark Wicks 49.7% to 44.1% and 5.7%.

South Carolina's 5th congressional district: Mick Mulvaney resigned February 16, 2017, to become the Director of the Office of Management and Budget. A special election was held on June 20, 2017, and was won by Republican Ralph Norman.

Utah's 3rd congressional district: Jason Chaffetz resigned June 30, 2017 for health reasons. Governor Gary Herbert scheduled a special election, the primary was held on August 15 and the general election will be held on November 7.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I know that Benghazi goof Chaffetz left his seat up for grabs in Utah today, but it wasn't under any real threat by the Dems to begin with.

I think Trump is talking about this year in total, such as the runoffs in Alabama (Sessions), South Carolina (Mulvaney) and Georgia (Price).

To be quite honest, I didn't think the capital of the Confederacy had it in her.
It rained cats and dogs today, the traitorous Donna Brassiere's bullshit is at high tide and, between the Charlottesville nonsense and Confederate statues, it might have been enough to keep people home and bring out all the redneck Nazi creepy ass crackers in force.
