So if the war happened because the slaveholders refused to compromise, and their stubbornness caused all those people to die, why should we have monuments glorifying them?

(surely he is not blaming Lincoln for lack of compromise?  Right?)

Of course not. That would be ridiculous. Lincoln was not even in office until the crisis was already far past the point of no return and I am sure Mr. Kelly knows the details of this conflict very intimately.

So the Missouri Compromise of 1820, the Compromise of 1850 and the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 weren't actually compromises at all, since pro-slavers didn't get their way 100%.  How positively Trumpian logic.

Valmy

Those compromises trampled all over their rights to their property as guaranteed by the 5th amendment. -_-

Trump would not have stood for those radical antisla Abolitionists and their extremist agitating.

Sean Hannity should feel fortunate he isn't listed in any indictments.

For what?

How many Fox tv and radio personalities have joined or attempted to join the Administration so far?  He's safer where he is.

Yeah if being an idiot was a crime fucker would have been locked up around 2004 or so.

I used to like Hannity.  Even went to see him one time when he was in Cincy.  Haven't been a fan the past few years, and him drinking the Trump kool-aid certainly didn't help.

Hannity had an uptight catholic school boy charm going but my problem with him was that he was such a mental lightweight and always pandered to his audience. But at least he is not a racist like Michael Savage.

I watched the show when he was interviewing Trump's son about the meeting he had with the Russians.  Hannity summed up the soft ball interview as "I asked all the questions I could think of and he answered them all" or words to that effect.

Lightweight or simply intellectually dishonest.

Valmy

I haven't listened or watched him since his radio show back around the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Back then it was just him talking to his producers and callers and he was obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed. He made guys like Bill O'Reilly look like a genius.

But at least at the time he seemed kind of goofy and harmless.

What makes you say that?

He doesn't like you. You best watch yourself. He has the death sentence on twelve systems.
