I think you guys need to work with him.

What does this mean?

You guys worked with Bill Clinton, the two George Bushes, Obama, so you will have to work with Trump the same way.  Obeying his laws, obeying his people, etc.

You laugh now.  But when Trump and the Republicans make a law that you don't like, this is what you need to remind yourself.

I can't imagine a situation where I could bring myself to watch a full episode of The Apprentice.
I'm ashamed to admit it that I watched a season or two.  :Embarrass: I have no idea how I got hooked into those seasons, but I did.  I always came away thinking that either I have not a single clue about effective management, or Trump doesn't.

Another thing that always struck me is all those executives working for his corporation coming in for a guest appearance as judges, and invariably acting like total sycophants in front of millions of viewers.  Did they really want to be on TV that badly?  Have they lost all sense of shame?  Have they gotten so used to saying "yes" that they no longer realize how pathetic they look?  So when someone started going with the "He's a businessman, he knows how to hire the right people" rationalization, I groaned.

I guess you have a point.  We're not too far from the day that American protestors wind up getting run over by tanks, too.

80 plus years at this point.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

great for reality TV. I almost posted "great TV" but knew I'd get a response. I got the response anyway.  :weep:

"Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents, but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!" the president-elect wrote on Twitter.

"I think Boeing is doing a little bit of a number. We want Boeing to make a lot of money, but not that much money."
