That's what we're gonna have to rename the White House to after this shitshow is over.

The Minsky Moment

QuoteMembers of the U.S. military at eight facilities around the world say they were encouraged or pressured to attend a screening of the new movie "Melania," according to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF).

The MRFF typically doesn't identify its clients — as it refers to service members who seek MRFF help — for fear of reprisal. But in an email shared with me, one MRFF client wrote that their combat unit was "advised" by the commander to join him and his wife at an off-base theater for a showing of "Melania."

"Nobody that I know wanted to go except for those that did not want to get jacked up by our unit commander for not attending," the service member wrote to MRFF.
"I am writing on behalf of a dozen of our unit members and families of whom nine are Christians and white."

MRFF President and Founder Mikey Weinstein told me Saturday that he received similar complaints from seven other military facilities around the country regarding commanders pushing "Melania" viewings. Weinstein said that complaints came from a variety of branches and locations.

The Pentagon did not address some specific questions about the movie — such as whether viewings are being encouraged by commanders — but said in a statement, "There is no Department of War directive requiring service members to see this film, though the film is fantastic."

We have, accordingly, always had plenty of excellent lawyers, though we often had to do without even tolerable administrators, and seen destined to endure the inconvenience of hereafter doing without any constructive statesmen at all.

The Minsky Moment

The movie alone is far FAR worse than anything Hunter Biden was ever accused of.

Seems like the censors of the Epstein files also redacted a "don't" that was likely misspelled as "don t" and thus got caught in their quick search:

So the kerfuffle over the Gateway railway tunnel in New York and New Jersey has reached the breaking point. Trump refuses to release the billions of dollars pledged to the project and appropriated by Congress until Chuck Schumer agrees to press his Democratic Colleagues to rename Penn Station and Dulles Airport after Trump.

The courts have ruled that the administration's actions are illegal, but it is unclear whether the administration will comply with the court order directing the administration to release the funds.

The 25th Amendment applies.

Also, I am finding it funny and revealing of US politics that careers continue to be shattered by contents of the Epstein files... in Europe.

Trumps plans to Make Argentina Great Again moves apace. Quardrupling beef imports (about 800 million in beef). American ranchers are gonna be so tired of all the winning.

Wonder what  Milei has on Trump or paid Trump. When hes cutting everyone else off. Or i guess it could just be his love affair with far right leaders.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

There is such a focus on this Bad Bunny's super bowl thing, that it is giving me serious "Kamala is brat" vibes.

Odd given there is no political candidate being endorsed.

Admiral Yi has a solution for this.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

There was absolutely nothing controversial about that half time show. He even said patriotic stuff.

The over sensitivity and insanity of the outrage machine is ridiculous.

I find it strange, weird and disturbing that an elected leader is officially rating half-time shows and officially disparages an athlete from one's own country that has won Olympic gold. Particularly when said elected leader's brain consists of gold and hamberder.
