The Minsky Moment

Comey prosecution is already falling apart.

The sole witness to testify at that the grand jury was an FBI agent who had reviewed improperly obtained privilege communications; the prosecution relied on documents obtained from a search warrant in an investigation that closed in 2021 without seeking a new warrant and used materials that were well beyond the scope of the original warrant.

The court has also found that the prosecutors made material mis-statements of the law to the grand jury, including statements prejudicial to Comey's constitutional rights.

Conclusion is that there are multiple reasonable grounds to dismiss the indictment; Comey team will be granted access to grand jury materials to pursue those motions.
We have, accordingly, always had plenty of excellent lawyers, though we often had to do without even tolerable administrators, and seen destined to endure the inconvenience of hereafter doing without any constructive statesmen at all.

Razgovory

Why was there a search warrant against Comey prior to 2021?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
