And he is not even President yet. It is like corporate nabobs instinctively know how to please people like Trump :hmm:

The sun rises, he takes credit. And the corporate nabobs are smart enough to realize they can get away with just about anything as long as they play along and not point out the emperor's sartorial shortcomings.

Well how classy of them.

I think it's rather unnecessary.  He's going to be flush with hateful obnoxious victory as it is, what with the very niggers on stage that he's gleefully evicting from his newest property, I see no reason why the Clintons should feed into his ego's raging hate boner by being there. They should've passed.

Trump may be magnanimous after his triumph and retire the Clintons to their estate.

The good news--President-Elect Trump was opposed to gutting the ethics office.

The bad news--Congressional Republicans caved so easily and quickly to Trump that it does cast into doubt how likely they might be to stand up to him on things he's on the wrong side of.
What he said:

"With all that Congress has to work on, do they really have to make the weakening of the Independent Ethics Watchdog, as unfair as it may be, their number one act and priority. Focus on tax reform, healthcare and so many other things of far greater importance!"

...is hardly against the idea, just the timing.  Yet he's getting all kinds of credit for stopping it.  Even the "Liberal news" is selling his brand of horseshit full on now it seems.  Awesome.
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

liberal news is selling him because he did a good thing

He is going to get credit for everything that happens.

This is really kind of fucking amazing. The Republicans are going to gut an ethics oversight committee, and Trump is a hero because they do not under intense public pressure.

Maybe tomorrow we can all congratulate him on the successful sunrise.

Maybe we are just putting all kinds of new fancy nametags like post-truth and social media induced politics on the oldest and most predictable political  routine ever: people having grown uncertain due to economic reasons, turn for a strong man to fix things.

He's gonna get stuff done.  You'll see.

AND . . .

Ford's CEO has now gone on record as saying that the decision not to build the new Mexico plant was made earlier, as part of an annual business review, due to "capacity planning" - i.e they didn't think they would sell enough small cars to justify an entire new plant.

He's gonna get stuff done.  You'll see.

I think he'll do what Orban has been in Hungary: declare imaginary "wars" against stuff, then win them, which is going to be easy as there never was anything to fight in the first place.
