Not that I think it is a great idea to appoint people who feel as lukewarm about liberty as you to such roles, but hey, there are jobs to be had! Including 20something judges positions!

Friend of mine from my Crown's office was just appointed. Super pumped for him. Really nice and personable guy, and has continued as a prosecutor despite being a quadrepelegic for a number of years. Due to the misfortune he's suffered couldn't have happened to anicer and more deserving guy.

Judges make more than prosecutors.  Private lawyers make more.  CC&Malthus would take a huge paycut if they became judges.  BB would get a raise.  If it's anything like Quebec, a substantial raise, close to 3x.
