Isn't CdM a tad too old to be a grunge fan? I despise grunge as new crap that killed real music and I'm younger than him. Maybe he is tastefully challenged?

Only you would consider hair metal as "real music".
" SIR – I must commend you on some of your recent obituaries. I was delighted to read of the deaths of Foday Sankoh (August 9th), and Uday and Qusay Hussein (July 26th). Do you take requests? "

Paradox character traits do not correspond to the real world, Abba.

FunkMonk

Heard one of their new songs on the radio the other day. Sounds alright.

Being from Seattle, thus a Grunge "expert"....I kinda prefer Pearl Jam.  AiC is all right though.  Nirvana was always overrated.

Being from Norway, thus a flannel-wearing nobody, I always preferred Pearl Jam too, but also knew when to be happy over small favours like beached whales and Alice In Chains making a record.

"Overrated" is a tough term.  I think everyone agrees they should be highly rated, then it just comes down to just how high.  I always liked Nirvana, not so much Pearl Jam, never got into Alice.

Now Soundgarden, on the other hand...

I'll buy the new album. I still kick myself for not seeing AiC when Staley was still alive. Noooo, I had to go see Kiss and King's X.

Chris Cornell has become the new Michael Jackson, so don't get your hopes up.
It'd probably be "Soundgarden Unplugged Does The Cardigans".

That would be the coolest album ever.

You really, really want me to have all those connecting flights from Oslo to St. John's, and then have to fly to Toronto before I get on a model airplane to East Bumfuck, Canada to beat you up for that, don't you?

Soundgarden is the best of the four.
