Parade Day was saturday, aka the day when everyone becomes Irish for a day to exhibit their drunkenness and failure.  I'm hoping for maybe a smaller more civilized day tomorrow as I was stuck working on Parade Day.  I definately wanted to wear an orange shirt under the mandatory green one on Saturday, or failing that a black and tan ensemble just to be a dick.

Hanging out with Irish friends (no plastic Paddies here) drinking fine wine and eating trout. We may drive some snakes out of somewhere in the name of tradition.

Yeah it is pretty strange alright. I wonder does he have something against Irish people or maybe he's just being a gobshite.

It isn't celebrated where I live.  But I ate some fruit cake, since my boss is Irish and he (his wife) baked some cake.

I forgot about it.  Don't really like Irish pubs though, so doubt I'll go out.  Would have bought some good beer at the supermarket yesterday if I'd thought of it.
