It is kind of neat.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. Can someone who knows chemistry/physics explain if the makers of this cube are playing off some clever joke?  Way more than 62 elements, no?

They try to put as many metals in there as possible to create the world's biggest alloy. Some metals are excluded, like Uranium mentioned above.
