Has anyone played this?
Interesting looking Rome managing strategy thingy majiggy. I'm sorely tempted but having not played a good Roman game since Caesar 2 I'm cautious...

I haven't played it but I was interested in it awhile back.  It has nice graphics but got some terrible reviews.  Basically just another Civ City: Rome game, simcity style city builder.

I'm not really excited by another roman city builder.

I played the demo some, but wasn't that impressed.

Yeah same here..
If you let someone handcuff you, and put a rope around your neck, don't act all surprised if they hang you!

Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. Let your opponent graze your skin and you smash into his flesh; let him smash into your flesh and you fracture his bones; let him fracture your bones and you take his life. Do not be concerned with escaping safely - lay your life before him.

Dang, from what I'd read it  was more than a city builder with political aspects and whatnot- a perfect Rome game makes sense to have some city builder aspects.
Just another Sim City rip with a Roman skin though- :(

I recommend Caesar 3.
Played it ages ago. Just Sim City with Romans, they removed all the cool  bits from Caesar 2.

Ancient Demon, formerly known as Zagys.

Tried it. It was basically "The Settlers" but with Roman sprites.
