I miss having all Bundesliga matches on one day, at the same time (Saturdays 3:30pm).

Now you have one match on Friday 8:30pm, 5 in the old time slot, one Saturday 6:30pm, and two Sunday at 3:30pm and 5:30pm. They're considering to move one more match away from Saturday.

Yeah, glass bottles have pretty much disappeared with the exceptions of beer, liquor, small cokes, and some fruit juices/syrups.

Am I missing something? There's still a bunch of arcades around...
Yeah, lots of things I'm seeing in this thread are either still around or enjoying a resurgence in popularity.

In the old days, you could even see an arcade game in some bars or cafés. Not so anymore. There are only a couple of real arcades around nowadays in Paris to give an example (La Tête dans les Nuages et Arcade Street). The only other I know are smaller and are in IMAX multiplexes outside Paris (Gaumont Eurodisney and Pathé Quai d'Ivry).

Yeah, they aren't as common as they were when I was a kid, but they are far from nonexistent. I can think of two pretty big ones in Barcelona, and pretty sure there's more.

I was in a couple when I lived in NYC, too. And to another in LA.

Candy cigarettes. I loved those chalky bastards
Those are still around. There is a huge candy store in Maine that carries them. I got Laura  big box of them once from Amazon.

Yeah, what Dave & Buster's calls an arcade is pitiful; the best arcades I've seen are at laundromats- the only place one can still play pinball. ;)

Been considering just building my own arcade cab, either from scratch or from something like a JAMMA kit.

Jeux sans frontières, I loved that show.

Yeah, and better Europe?

As in the only Europe the Brits were prepared to accept?  :P

Possibly, for many Brits perhaps that is the case?
