Happy New Years!

Now that Tyr's in Switzerland, I'm number one!  :yeah:
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Seh heh pok mani padusayo.

No one here can read that. Including Tim.

Tim, can you give us a heads up? What is it like in the year 2015?
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

Are you saying living in Japan made him a better person than you and living in Korea makes you a better person than the rest of us?  :hmm:

Feliz Año Nuevo cabrones.

I am at work until 1630, off only tomorrow the 1st, I have to work Friday the 2nd. And The Wife wants us to go to a New Years party at her Aunt's, down in Mobile AL! 3.5-4 hours away. Ugh.

Not going out. It's freezing, the town is packed with tourists, and friends are either out of town or on the other side of the city.

I have to say this part of town has been MUCH quieter so far than the two more "colorful" districts I've previously lived in where two weeks before and a week after New Years you felt like the Red Army was back storming the city.

I heard the first firecrackers here 20 minutes ago.  :bowler:
