Putin allowed himself to be portrayed as smaller than his foe?

I think he'd be more upset that he's not portrayed as having a massive package in those scenes, except for maybe riding the Crimean ox.

He's a little on the short side.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

They are not exactly going for realism in these works.

I am just in Moscow and saw this merchandise yesterday:

Admiral Yi

Don't buy the tshirts with the Kremlin decal.  The decal comes off in the first wash.

Maybe one of the Putin fridge magnets...  :P

For some bizarre reason I am suddenly worried by the prospect that someone who may not be entirely mentally stable is one button away from launching nuclear weapons on the rest of the world.  I think I am just paranoid, but the thought did strike me yesterday.

Tonitrus

Putin isn't crazy.

His adoring fans/Putintards can be.  And those kinds of Russians love to go over-the-top with this kind of stuff.

Instead of 12 Labours of Putin, I'd like to see a cossack with the balls to draw Putin in 12 Hours of Labor.
