This one is probably a bit of a long shot but you never know, maybe someone has done the same before.
I've just bought a cheap little bluetooth speaker for my computer- going to buy some decent speakers after payday but for now using my earphones is a pain.

My computer has a bluetooth dongle which detects my phone just fine.

But it just won't detect the speaker even if it is transmitting.

The speaker is by a no name company called microspot.

Apparently you need a different driver for audio devices vs regular devices?

Any ideas?

Make sure the dongle supports AD2P (most common Bluetooth stereo format).
