Television Series Cancelled Too Early?

Just rewatched Terriers.

Its maybe one of my favorite seasons of TV ever; hilarious, smart without being pretentious, and captures the 2010 recession zeitgeist about as well as anything I've seen.  Donal Logue is one of my favorite actors, and he's just fucking on fire.  I probably would have watched 6 seasons of the show; however, it didn't last past the first. 

Anyone have any other favorite examples?

It needed at least one more season, and should have gotten one.  HBO did not realize what they had until it was too late.
