Australia has rather prominently retained strict obscenity laws into the present day, AFAIK, at least officially.

Yeah they are pretty ridiculous when it comes to censorship.  Australia has some strange right wing tendencies.

I forget the exact story, but a few years ago I saw something about Australia banning porn stars with small tits because they look too much like children.

I am sure Cal approves though.

EDIT:  About no small tits not the children thing, to be clear.

It never ceases to amaze me that in the freelance world, some of the highest payoffs is in porn, particularly gay male BDSM/fetish porn.  I mean, how often can you type "swollen"?
At least that's what I heard.

Yes, 10 Things I Hate About You had a skit about that.

Australia was originally a penal settlement and is slowly reverting to type.

Indeed.  It wasn't until a few years ago, iirc, that Alan Moore's Lost Girls was permitted to be imported by their customs service.

In PRChina I presume he'd be hung from the neck until dead.

Ideologue

Anyway, given that somehow magically turning about 20% of the male population gay is the only way the PRC will ever survive in its current form, you'd think they'd be open to just about anything.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.
