Look I already made my point by posting the names of some of the victims of the "red neck" life.

What about Country musicians?

An even greater tragedy is that Hank Williams Jr. did not die at age 29.   :(

Jr. > Sr.

I'm just surprised Hank III is still alive.

Has he done anything of note lately?  I remember him being in his hardcore punk stage, and then he did that kind of unnerving album where he and his father sang overdubs on Hank I's songs so it sounded like they were singing ghostly choruses together.  And then I saw him in the "The Whites" documentary; seems like he fell in with Johnny Knoxville & Co. for a while.  Haven't heard much about him since.

He was on the shitty discovery channel show Fast and Loud playing at the shitty Gas Monkey resturant.

Yes, I was bored.

All the Hank Williamseses suck.

Don't say that, Ed.  Don't put Hank I in that.

Savonarola

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

He's put out a few albums but generally seems to keep a low profile.

Also, they need to do a follow-up to The Wild & Wonderful Whites.  Jesco, Mamie, et al have much more to give.

What about Country musicians?

I don't care that much.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
