My wireless keyboard recently died and I've gone back to my old wired one. And you know what...it feels so much more responsive and...better?
So. What do you use. Not a life changing poll but buttons are fun.

Wireless technology offends my operational resiliency and redundancy sensibilities.   Your laziness is your assumption of unnecessary risk.

If I didn't game I would ditch every wire anywhere near my PC.  As long as I game I still use wired keyboard, mouse and internet.

My gaming King of Macs (not that I play many games these days) is all about wires.  Wired internet (not something you mentioned), wired keyboard, wired mouse.

If you go wireless that's one more aperture the dark lords of the  internet can exploit.

The Brain

For my desktop I use wires because there is no need for wireless and I don't get battery hassle and wireless is just one more thing that can stop working. For my laptop I use wires for the above reasons and also because wires make sure I remember to put all devices back in the bag.

I've only used laptops for years now, so wireless all the way. The less cables I have to deploy when I go around (that's why I look for long battery life too), the better.

I have a wired keyboard and wired mouse tucked away somewhere for emergencies and troubleshooting, but have been wireless for a long time.

Wireless keyboard and wired mouse. I trashed my old wireless mouse after one too many moments of lag.

Wired for performance reasons.  Logitech keyboard and HP mouse (surprisingly good, provided you keep a mousepad under it).

I'm also a big fan of alternative input methods, though- I've been working on using my Raspberry Pi as a controller for a skinnable touchscreen "keyboard" (got the idea from watching a gameplay video of STO with an LCARS touchscreen).

Serious gaming mouses & keyboards are wired, mine including.

Microsoft Natural Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard.  It's the best I've found so far.  +the mouse.

Same here.  I fear wireless keyboards are witchcraft as well.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
