Yeah, it is rather shitty. Bins are always full to the brim
Quite a contrast to Japan where bins are almost non-existant yet nobody litters.

Why is there so much garbage everywhere? Don't they have public sanitation in Great Britain?.

Probally due to the massive storms hitting Aberystwyth at the moment. By all accounts it has been hit the hardest it has been for a century. I'm told the waves were several stories high.
