I realized that sense switching away from mouses with mouse balls, I haven't used one in ages. Wondered if that was just me.

No mousepad here. You just have to make sure the surface of your desk isn't a) too shiny or b) white.

Yes.  Glossy desk here.  Though I'm only using the mousepad because I found a free one I'd been given.  Other than that, I'd found a sheet of blank copy paper diffuses an optical mouse enough to make a serviceable mousepad.

I don't at work, but do at home.  Have one of those big mat things due to a glass desk.  The mouse I have theoretically works on glass, but its a little too inconsistent.

Too many mice at work to have pads for all of them.

Monoriu

I do.  Don't really have a choice.  All of my desk surfaces have light colour.

Grey Fox

like M&M, yes at home, no at work.

Mostly because I need something comfy to lay my wrist on at home & not at work.

Going through an old box earlier last year I found a very old mouspad that was a promo for Star Trek: Generations.  I've been using it ever since.

By Allsop. Bought it back in my Counter-strike crazed days. Made a big difference in gaming. Should probably get another one, as it badly worn out by now.

Man, I have that same old worn out mousepad somewhere upstairs.  I use one with a little cushion to rest my hand, otherwise I get terrible pains in the wrist.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I have one, mostly for its ergonomic rest for the wrist.

in the office: no.  At home, for gaming: yes.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.
