The problem with the dude in White House is not his skin color, is his policies, his ideology, his complete downgrade of the US military, bringing down our superpower status.

Its seems to me the plans regarding the military predate Obama by at least three presidental election cycles and were only put on hold because of the wars in Iraq and Afganistan.

If you are correct and Obama could single handedly "bring down" your superpower status, then it is a shame he could not use his extra ordinary power to pass the legislative agenda he had intended.

What exactly has he gotten away with that the last two guys have not?  Actually I think his White House has been so firmly and continuously opposed he has been able to really do much, legislatively anyway, so I am not sure what you are talking about.

I mean I think Obama has been a big disappointment but I see zero evidence he has done anything but fund and support the efforts of the US military.

If you compare the Bush security and defense policy in 2007-2008 (I.e. post Rumsfeld) to what Obama has done, there isn't a hell of a lot of difference.  They even had the same Defense Secretary for a long stretch.
