Tim, you really have got to stop reading slate.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. WTF is so bad about Slate?  Some of you folks clearly have a visceral negative response to it.  Defend it.

Slate generally just features a bunch of histrionic editorials. Very rarely does one come across anything value and when there is ever a nugget of information, you generally have to look it up somewhere else as the writer is so explicitly biased towards their own point of view.
