To clarify, I have no real set schedule apart from the flights.  I can fake the rest as I go along, which is how I like to travel.

I would say "swing by Wyoming" but it is still winter here.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Yikes, at the end of May?  Oregon got warm earlier than usual.  Weird.

*sigh*

I'll be driving from SD to PDX.  I'll be hitting everything in-between.
Actually, I'll be in Monterey and SF at the same time as you, so we could meet at Vesuvio or Cafe Prague.

Pfft what kind of wacko drives from San Diego to Portland?!?!

I don't drive at all in the UK... and I miss my roadtrips.
Plus - here's what I have to hit - San Diego, Rancho Palos Verdes, Monterey, SF, Klamath Falls, Eugene, Tillamook County, Tigard and Portland.
Tigard, really?  That is where I grew up and went to high school.

No no no, PDH, you are only suppose to announce when the two days of summer arrive, till then we expect it is always winter in Laramie.

More than Rancho Palos Verdes to Monterrey? :yeahright:

Pfft.  Easy.  I used to drive from Monterey to Neskowin, Oregon in one shot all the time.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
