The Connie ship is only 'usable' for your first 10 or so hours of play, then you'll want to move up to a better ship.

The Borg officer can be useful for the entire game.

Yeah I know, it's interesting was looking at Amazon's shipping options
But with Amazon unless i go for $20 in shipping charges I won't get that copy till like the 4th or 5th, where Gamestop I should have pickup at store on 2nd.

Well pulled the trigger on the CE from Amazon for the Borg officer, not to decide to pick up pain vanilla from gamestop for the Constitution for the trifecta

The best i can tell it will be like EVE with one server.
PvP will be able through instancing like WoW bg's and also if you venture into the Neutral zone for open world pvp.
