It wasn't disparaging, but someone in mid 20's living in the City, i'd be shocked if they didn't know those songs. and the artists. I mean i know 16 of the artists, but I just don't listen to enough R&B, Hip hop to follow them.

I check in on BET and MTV2 once in a while, just to see what they're up to these days.  Not much progression from the Watusi mating rituals over on National Geographic.

Having a 13-year-old daughter "helps" tremendously.  <_<

Doesn't mean I know the names of the songs or the artists.

Unfortunately I have heard of one of the artists on that list.
