Tomorrow I'm going up to Wisconsin for a few days, so you'll have to find someone else to bitch about for a while.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Can't we bitch about you while you are gone?

That's what I plan to do.

If you're a beer drinker, check out the Leinenkugel beer.  I remember that being rather good.

Whereabouts in Wisconsin you going?

Pretty sure you can get Leinie in Missourah.  They make some decent, some not so decent varieties.  I always liked their Red.

I haven't been in the midwest since '99, so work with me.

Just clear it through me first next time you'll be okay ;)

Sprecher.  New Glarus.  These are the beers from Wisconsin.  Leinie is perfectly adequate, but nothing special.

Yeah, you can get that stuff all over the country now.

My great-grandfather had us go to the Pabst factory.

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

As punishment of some sort?  :P

Made it back.  Spent the entire time in agony.  I have something wrong with my back.  Unsure what, started the day before I left and got worse.  Figured it would get better if I had a good night sleep.  When I woke up, couldn't even sit up.  Went to the hospital and they figured I had some sort of back strain.  They were impressed how much painkiller it took before I even felt it.  I have a high tolerance to chemicals.  Spent the last few days in a Vicoden haze.  Did see my niece.  I understand why Malthus and BB are so proud of their kids.  Babies are wonderful.

Using the MD license I obtained in a Cracker Jack box, I'd say you might have sciatica.

Why not take a Vision Quest to Peter North?  That way you'd at least get to visit Malibu.

Actually I asked about ruptered disks and the like.  The doc at the emergency room thought it was just a torn muscle.  Hurts like a bitch though.  I have been walking with a cane for the last few days.  I have a follow up on Monday.

And no Cal, I'm not going to see Peter North.  What is with you and Peter North anyway?  Actually I saw a chick at the HuHot Grill in Madison I think worked in Porn.  Dead ringer for the chick.
