A Jeep was also partly under consideration.  :sleep:

Though the last time I tried sitting in one, it was rather cramped.

But in truth, the hard part is that the last of the FJs are hard to find up here (and I probably hesitated too long).  And the only real inspiration of even getting a new vehicle is to get a new FJ before they're gone.  Failing that, I might as well keep the one I have until it croaks, as Xterras/Jeeps will likely still be around.

So I will likely just miser my dinero.  And buy some good snow tires (hopefully some Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2s if I can find 'em)

Tundras are too big-ass (especially now that I have to fit in a covered parking garage...the FJ squeezes in by just a couple inches). 

And, they're made in Texas.
