And Community is getting 5th season! :o

How is that possible?  This last season was a gigantic train wreck.

The only reason I still watch it is because of Alison Brie.

Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

So I'm watching the The Divide.  Whiskey. Tango.  Fucking Foxtrot.

It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

No shit, dude.

I mean, I totally dig post-apocalyptic scenario flicks, whether nukular, biologicalar or zombielar, but man...between the predictability of everybody's character falling into their inevitable stereotypical slots as things progress (the Euro is a pussy, the assholes are psychopaths, the weak mother becomes victim, the strong woman survives, et cetera) to the abrupt storyline end points in the middle of the movie (who the fuck are the suits?), the fucking storyline had nowhere to go except the Stone Age.

Michael Biehn worked with what he had, God bless him, but the plot totally dispensed with his redeeming qualities as well as Eva's character not bringing them to the attention of the rest of the group.  Not that it would've mattered until the end anyway.

The best part about the film was the soundtrack, definitely moody and atmospheric.  And Michael Eklund made for a cool psycho with panache.  But that was it.

The only morale of the story is don't get stuck in a bomb shelter with 1) random fucking strangers, and 2) random fucking strangers that include women, because shit will go wrong fast.

And while my Minuteman got a little tingly with Patricia Arquette's devolution into choke-her-from-behind-with-a-necktie-doggy-style whore bait, this was like Funny Games meets World War III.  No hope, no nothing, only feral humanity porn.

Hot Spot.

Nothing like a small-town-in-Texas dusty noir Don Johnson vehicle with Virginia Madsen and Jennifer Connelly eye candy from 1990 to completely flush out the frontal lobe.  Beats using a grapefruit spoon.

Watched the latest Veep, that show is hilarious. The delivery of the line "This is a man's world we live in. Because of the axis of dick" was perfect.
"Af alle latterlige Ting forekommer det mig at være det allerlatterligste at have travlt" - Kierkegaard

Yeah, I think it's a great show.

And Revolution actually made the cut for next season.
So has The Following.

I been watching Kiefer's show Touch, which is a strange one but quite gripping. That's been cancelled. Kiefer will be back, though, as Jack Bauer in a 12-part 24.

Oh, and A miniseries from M. Night Shyamalan called "Wayward Pines" will air after the run of 24.

'A Bronx Tale' was on the tv so I watched it again, possibly seen it three times now, and I noticed some additional good things about it this time.

One of my favourite films, and for what it is, I think it's near perfect, I can't see any flaws in it.
