Have you seen Bad Santa?

I have. Don't think my family will like it.

Ah screw it, it's gonna be A New Hope since they are all pumped up after The Force Awakens.

I just texted mom to suggest Star Wars tomorrow, and she fired back that she wants to see Revenge of the Sith because she doesn't remember much of it. I told her it's better that way.

Incidentally, I learnt that a former classmate at Columbia worked at TFA, and she's in the end credits (she was Abrams' assistant).

I did it all wrong.

Spielberg's Tintin was awful.

The old animated show is damn great anyway. Nothing else is needed.

"Old" animated show? Well, they kind of slaughtered by tampering with it in to deliver a 16/9 presentation but it's not that old. It was also "adapted" to take into account PC, compared to the albums, themselves already changed in some cases for PC reasons as well.
Sorry, I don't believe you were talking about the really old Belvision cartoon, hard to find nowadays except for one episode, even in Belgium.
edit: to describe the most well-known show

"there's a long tradition of insulting people we disagree with here, and I'll be damned if I listen to your entreaties otherwise."-OVB

"Obviously not a Berkut-commanded armored column.  They're not all brewing."- CdM

"We've reached one of our phase lines after the firefight and it smells bad—meaning it's a little bit suspicious... Could be an amb—".

I know those, these are the Belvision features films, not the hard to find Belvision TV show, though one feature film was recycled from the sum of the episodes pertaining to an album.
