2084 miles

4726 miles

3561 miles

Edit: any source as to lesser diffence by air?

Edit: only a north american could with a straight face say that a distance of more that a thousand miles is "not that much".

The difference if flying time is only about 3-4 hours depending on weather/wind conditions which is not that much when considering the flight to Toronto can take 5-6 hours depending on those same conditions.

In other words, for me sitting in Vancouver, why would I go to Toronto when I can be in London for about the same price and not much more travelling time.

Yeah but the Parisians do not say 'Tabarnac!' nor do they eat Poutine.

Shrug, I'd rather go to London too, but it isn't accurate to say it is only a little further.

Sure it is.  A few hours more isnt much longer when considering how long it takes to get to Toronto in the first place.
