Never, and hopefully I never will.  Have shot paintball guns, though never at a person.

Jaron will burst the barrel.

What was the name of that big cannon the Nazi's had?

Dora.

Dora the Exploder.

They have to sing the map song every time to plot a fire mission. And backpack has the compass.

Though "Dora Conquistadora" is still the classic.

Like most of my peers I doggedly avoided conscription until it was abolished. I have fired paintball and pellet guns, but nothing above that. I'm not into hunting and firing at a range sounds awfully boring after the novelty wears off.

It's quite fun to unload 50 balls filled with paint on unsuspecting target. Well the first 2 are a surprise.

What the hell is the point of shooting a paintball gun except to fire at a person?

If you're shooting at a target you should fire a real gun.

I volunteered for militia training and fired a FN rifle and an SMG.

Yep.  Started on the .22 at seven and owned a 20-gauge shotgun by ten.

I used to train and fire these sport target guns. Not sure which category they would fall into.

Wasn't easy to get my hands on a real gun at 15.

I had no such problems, I went to public schools.

Did you leave Russia before the you had the privilege of serving in the Army?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Yes, thank God, with many years to spare.
