How has it come to this? Rooting for Spain in the final

If we weren't in the final (and I think Argentina are far weaker than England and thus I'd rather play them), this would very much be an AIDS vs cancer scenario for me. 

Well, probably the fact that Messi still plays for them would edge it for Argentina, but dunno... Argentine fans are downright insufferable and we have them by the thousands around here.

I mean how are you in a colonial dispute with Britain where you're the coloniser?

Edit: I should add that Argentina is actually one of my favourite countries and one of the best places in the world I've ever been to and I liked Argenitnes very much

Dang, Spain is impressive. Let's hope FIFA allows them to win against Argentina.

Back to reverse jinx attempts, I see. 

Spain has been playing really well, their press game is the best I've seen, at least in this tournament. Clear favourites amongst the three nations remaining. I think FIFA will give this game to Argentina and we'll have a SPA-ARG final and in that game all normal and sane people will root for Spain.

I will not go out of my way to watch that game though.

Feel like that's three or four fouls on Anderson and the ref has had a word twice. Think he's probably the key for England in trying to nullify Messi so probably makes sense.

Edit: Sadly this is probably when you need senior English players constantly in the ear of the ref.

Edit: And worried an England player will do something silly instead. Looking frustrated and I feel like they need calming down at the break and told to let the senior players keep moaning.
