Stary Dub is a town in Czech Rep. Also, always funny, how much of the vocabulary is the same between German and Russian (Graf, Lanz[e], Degen, plus German city names in Russia - Peterburg, Kronstadt, Ekaterinburg ...). The rank of Yefreytor mirrors the German "Gefreiter", for example.

Fridemaker = Friedensmacher = Peacemaker ... what's the story there?

I just want to thank you. I couldn't do it yesterday, web access was so lousy it was pretty much impossible to access any page (probably some bryozoans colony was clogging the tubes... )
