Yeah I miswrote, not 3 pins but with an earth I meant. They have it in some thing around the edges rather than in another pin.
Those blank earthless two pins though are dangerous, I don't get how some still use them.

When I lived in Germany the house(s) had 2-pin plugs that were nevertheless properly earthed :

I experimented with a screwdriver one time and there was a flash and the entire house fused, there was no electric shock

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Neat.  I have a universal adapter that works fine, but is a pain in the ass to lug around.  I remember thinking the UK plug was bizarre... the Europlug seemed more sensible to me.

Brits are simply insane with their electricity so they have to put a fuse inside their plugs (Which is why it's so big).
