Anyone had any experience with asian characters on computers before?
I try to paste 陸 in many places but it comes out as a V

If the program you're pasting it into doesn't support Asian character sets (in your case, Chinese), it will appear as a weird character. IIRC you can install East Asian Language support from your XP installation CD, and probably download it from Window's website.

That was the best guess I could come up with too. Its msn I'm trying to use it with, but the other two characters show fine, its just this one is a V.
Its Japanese, I have support for east asian languages installed and they're all on the standard kanji list so its pretty odd.
