TB's verdict: don't buy it yet.

- Badly optimized (stutters on 2 nVidia 980s in SLI), shoddy graphics even in High
- buggy
- crashy
- micro transactions (in a single player game)
- chests locked unless you open them with a companion app on a smart phone or tablet
- not very innovative in gameplay (step back from Black Flag)
- art design is great

EDIT: Also, the review embargo was set to 12 hours *after* release of the game, which is a bit of a warning flag in and of itself
