Kind of silly how the headline says "buddhist statue" when the article says it was "pre-buddhist", but still interesting for the archaeology and pulp fiction nerds among us.

Yeah, interesting, though I first say this at theregister.co.uk and their headline was rather more misleading, "Tibetan STATUE found by 1930s NAZI expedition is of ALIEN ORIGIN"   :hmm:

Co-incidentally late last night I watched a Horizon about asteroid and a fair bit of it was about looking at meteorites.
