You decide. :P
This isn't strictly related to the topic at hand, but the constant spinning over his person and blackness by both the right and the left in America are pushing me to conclude that the US wasn't really yet ready for a black President.
He kinda looks like the bad guy in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

He looks absolutely nothing like Emperor Gupta.
They clearly know their audience.
Damn the History Channel sucks.

You have to start with baby steps. We wouldn't know that so many in our society are still virulently racist if we didn't launch that trial balloon. Now that we did, we are addressing that problem in a polite civil discourse.

I think we'll all better off with History Channel not doing history. History will thank us.

I'd say your post leads me to believe that you aren't really ready to comment on US culture or politics. The same constant spinning occurred during the W. Bush administration and the Clinton years. It also did so, insofar as the technology allowed, during the Lincoln Administration!

 It does look like him. Even the ears! Awesome. Was The Devil wearing mom jeans as well??
He's a dead ringer except the mole.
So is this an example of white people being less able to discriminate among colored faces?

No. :)
I think so.

I think so.
Then you're a retard.
The question was not whether we can tell which of these two pictures is Barak Obama, the question was whether there's a noticeable similarity.
Then there's the fact that your're as white as I am.
Then there's the fact that you only have one black observer data point.
Testy much?
Besides, Obama and I can also have a notable similarity.

Yes, but all you socialists look alike.

I'm not sure I care for your racial euphemisms. <_<

So you just casually revert to childish insults like retard?
If you define casually to cover all situations other than those where the initial impulse is testiness, then yes. :)
I still say that except for the President having a much darker skin tone, he looks a lot like my stepfather. Given my feelings toward my stepfather, that's pretty much saying that he looks like Satan.

I'm not seeing it.
I think he looks more like Donald Sumpter (Maester Luwin).

Looks lighter skinned there. I wonder if it was just the lighting or if they used makeup?

1) Makeup
2) HE'S WEARING A HOOD
The actor's Moroccan, btw.
he does yes.
Thought I smelled something fishy about that bible series
A bigger question is why the character is in the series at all. In the Old Testament, satan is a generic noun, not a specific individuated being.
He makes an appearance in the Goy part of the Bible.

What? I was hoping there would be an entire season devoted to the books of Maccabees.

Yeah sometimes when I read the OT I am sometimes rather surprised at how different the actual text is from what I was told about it. No Satan in the garden of Eden for example. Alot of interpretations got latched onto it over time.
