So has anyone tried this yet? Should I bother finishing my download?

Read that review and it kind of put me off, but if you check it out let me know how it is, maybe I'll give it a whirl.
I think the reviewer had some issues :) I have not run into any of the loading/other problems he mentioned, but it is several months after launch now, so I'm guessing those minor technical issues have been resolved.
He is correct with some of his other complaints...lack of customization, crappy voice overs, stupid emotes on button bar.
But his gameplay complaints I don't agree with. At least not since they are really trying to stay true to the 'original' Wizardy games, at least form what I can see. That includes hard to play mage. I got by son on, and we did some partying last night. Overall, I thought it went pretty smoothly. Re-spawning is ludicrously fast, so you really do need to keep moving ... have to look for the out of way corner to stop, heal, etc. I doubt I will be spending any real money on buying stuff, at least from what I've seen so far, but as a nice diversion here or there, I think I'll keep it around :)
We talked about it before: http://languish.org/forums/index.php/topic,7881.msg533794.html#msg533794
But I don't think any of us actually played it.

Bah humbug...my search skills have failed me :face:
I tried playing it, could never get logged in, gave up and de-installed.
