I really enjoyed these games as a kid so I threw a few bucks their way. Just a few days left if anybody enjoyed their games as much as I did: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1878147873/hero-u-rogue-to-redemption
Yes, everybody pitch in to this one (I'm in for $100). The Quest for Glory series was awesome, and there hasn't been anything like it in far too long.

Yeah me to. I plan on doubling it on Monday but I need to see how much the second Birthday Party I am throwing for my kid costs me today.
Somehow I missed that series back in the day.
That's like someone asking for a kick-starter to make a silent movie. It's bullshit. Exploitation of nostalgic idiots to make an unplayable game. :P

Unlike silent movies - which clearly wanted the technology to put sound in, as seen in the subtitle cards and the like - older games are still quite playable and enjoyable today (hell, a lot of them are being redone on the iPhone etc, now).

You don't enjoy silent movies?

I had a ton of fun with a retro-type game called "Hotline Miami". Only cost 10 bucks and the pixely 1980's graphics kept it from being gore porn.

Marty is against it! That should compell anybody with intelligence and good taste that this is a worthy cause.

Except the analogy is idiotic. As can be expected from Marty.
Silent Movies are not a genre of movies. I suppose his point would have some amount of logic if we were funding an EGA game instead of a modern Unity Engine game.
Closing in on the last 24hours here. THey are over 90% so should close the deal but watch this space and stuff.
Looking good. With 15 hours to go they have 380K out of 400K :showoff:

And they're over the top now, with 5 hours to go.
Yep! More QFG (-ish) games are forthcoming!
