QuoteWe petition the obama administration to:
Establish new legal system of motorcycle riding "Judges" who serve as police, judge, jury, and executioner all in one.

This is a petition to dissolve the current legal system and replace it with a single Hall of Justice, run by Judges; motorcycle-riding law officers who act as police, judge, jury, and executioner.

Looks like the impeach Obama petition will get its 25k but then also the petition to deport everyone who signed a state secession petition.

I like the serious responses to some of these petitions like Stop Animal Homelessness!

In a country this big they really should increase the number of signatures at least ten fold to a quarter million.

Agreed.

The whole internet, really, has gotten kinda boring. I was all excited when I first got my phone modem back in 97.  No time was better spent than watching naked ladies uncover themselves on your screen pixel by pixel in under 5 minutes.
But it hasn't lived up to its potential.

QuoteAppoint A Pediatric Oncologist to the National Cancer Advisory Board
Please sign this petition to urge President Obama and National Cancer Institute Director, Harold Varmus, to appoint a pediatric cancer specialist to the National Cancer Advisory Board in order to give a voice to all children fighting cancer!

The National Cancer Advisory Board is the advisory council for the National Cancer Institute. The board helps set the strategic direction for the NCI and has direct input on grant and funding decisions.

National Cancer Advisory Board Members are appointed directly by the President. Currently, there are no pediatric oncologists on the panel.

HOW CAN OUR CHILDREN RECEIVE THE FUNDING THEY DESERVE WHEN THERE IS NO ONE REPRESENTING THEM AT THIS TABLE? BE THEIR VOICE TODAY AND SIGN AND SHARE THIS PETITION!

This is one I can get behind. All the emotional baggage aside kiddie cancer /= adult cancer. Bodies work differently and there are a specific set of kinds of cancer that children get that for the most part adults don't get.

Do they even still print 2000AD?  It seems a little backward now that it's 2012AD.  I do kinda miss the days when you could put the number "2000", behind your product and make sound all futury.  Now it seems quaint.

It's not actually set in 2000 AD though.

Anyways, yes they do and Judge Dredd has actually been aging and going through character development in real time.

I love that it has 5 times more signatures than the petition to allow federal recognition of gay marriage. :P

And besides these online petitions are mainly a vehicle for trolling.
