So, what happened to you people the last 2 or 3 years?
Had a rough year last year when every part of my
life more or less imploded (which included the death of a parent).
I'm still living in the south of Sweden never took my degree but
I'm getting by pretty ok. :)

Martinus left forever. at least he said he did.
Slargos returned to sweden.
Well I had two kids and am still slowly slogging through my EE degree.
Tim moved to Korea and now posts day-by-day updates on the Starcraft league.
Moved from the Yukon back to Alberta.
I now have two little boys that keep me busy.
Good to see you back! :)
Nothing has changed much around here, I'm still in Quebec, Neil is still in Alberta, CdM is still glued to the Walking Dead. It's the same old Languish, with occasional "Languis is dying thread" or "Wich galactic aircraft carrier is the best" :)

Maybe back to school in a few years, but it bores the hell outta me.

I'm working on it.
Gotten two kids a boy who is 6 years old and has started school. And a girl who is 3 and a half years old. I got a phonecall on a vacation in february and was offered a steady job teaching english, math and social studies to future plumbers on a technical vocational school.
So i have a wife two kids and an education and a job, and an apartment i can hardly afford on a teachers salery, so i'm scraping by.

Better than the talking heads.
I've become a much happier person, and a less political one. In the last two years I also took up sonnet writing, as well as drinking truly prodigious amounts of tea. I am looking to work in Japan in the very near future, and continue the pleasant modesty of the existence I enjoy now.

Oh, and the 24 year old girlfriend.
I wish I had a 24 year old girlfriend. :(
Also, I have had 4 bowel movements today. All clean wipers. :)
I've been eating a bunch of prunes lately to make my bowel movements more regular. I stewed some into rice gruel and it was really pleasant.
Prunes are very underrated!

- Settled down with my current girlfriend, together for almost five years now. She became live-in partner three years ago now.
- Planning leaving my current data processing job in January/February, entering Plumbing/heating professional school early this March.
- Been working out hard these last few years, and it shows result.
Still rocking it Brain-style.
How long was the wait on that Waiting List for plumber school? Laval has a 2 year waiting list.
Still mulling over when to apply.

It's on institution basis. I'm in Montreal.
I have received my letter of admission last August and I'm scheduled to start on the first week of March 2013 on my personal file available online. The test at my institution was in July. It's once a year; you fail, you have to start it all over again. Trust me, there are
a lot of applicants and the third of them actually pass through, so I wouldn't wait.
Early last October I received a call from my school institution offering me to start two weeks later as they had an opening, but as I didn't make any arrangement for student loans I couldn't join at that moment. That said, knowing the number of applicants it meant that I was among the first on the waiting list.
Howdy Sal, good to hear from you. :)
Moved up a bit in the place I work; leading a pretty large project, travelling to various places in the US to meet with super-highpowered clients and do super-highpowered things with them in a super-highpowered way.
Other than that saving up my money and counting it every night like Ebeneezer, doing the Friday night karaoke thing. No real life adventures; I went to a dry wedding during the summer. :(
I wonder what strange wind blew both you and Count NotDeMoney back to Languish around the same time?
Welcome back Sal
Not sure I have any exciting updates to relate, things are going well in general.

You can go to my plumbing school if you like we have to accept all applicants, though i doubt it covers foreign nationals? We do have a regular trickle of Swedish nationals... so perhaps canucks are fine as well.
- Built a house and moved into it.
- Left working in console games - last game I worked on Sleeping Dogs came out earlier this year - now working in mobile social games.
- Got a dog.
Got married, bought a house which was promptly (within a week) attacked by a hurricane. Fortunately no damage but we were sweating it.
