Been a while since a Bucs prime time win. Even if only a "prime time" win on the NFL channel. :bowler:
I just wanted to point out I have exhibited great self control all year in not gushing with love for my beloved RGIII in these threads. I did it just for you CdM.
I forgot to change my fantasy line ups.
The good: I had Doug Martin in
The bad: I had minnesota d in.

I preferred the original Techmo Bowl; totally rocked with those Cleveland Browns.
Kevin mack was a freight train on that game.

Yeah, I had a lot fun with that game. Also played the older Atari football, which wasn't so good.
Tecmo was fun but when I got that first madden game on the Genesis, I creamed my pants.
It was similar with soccer:
Microprose Soccer (C64) => Sensible Soccer (Amiga) => FIFA Soccer (SNES)
When I played my first FIFA game in 1994 or so I was completely blown away.

Well, the one benefit of the Foreskins and Steelers playing each other is it's both teams in the same game, so the league can't fuck us over with regional coverage wasting two games.
Get the Patriotards and Rams as the other matchup at 1pm, and the New Yauk Football Giants and Cowpokes at 4pm.

If your LFFL defense sucks, you have no excuses. The 13th best defense of the league, Cleveland, is available.

Incorrect. It is never acceptable to root for the Cowgirls; I will allow Ravens fans an exemption against the Steelers.
Suck it, Cowboys.
Of course, with the hurricane now we'll have to deal with a whole bunch of media stories about how this team is the only thing that brings hope to the shattered city of New York.
Was it just me, or did the dude Fox replaced Joe Buck with (he's doing the baseball game) sound just like Joe Buck?
Okay, i'll admit to liking Gronk's touchdown celebration.
I hate the Gronk, but he did have the best TD celebration of the day with the "changing of the guard" celebration.
It was, of course, completely erased with his subsequent "Magic Mike" celebration.
So it looks like it was a decent day to end up having to work instead of watching NFL games. Doesn't look like anything really exciting happened.

It took a couple weeks, but Manning has this offense finally running on all cylinders his way.
And to make things worse for their opponents, Manning finally has a real defence on the other side of the ball.
All that free-agent grabbing by the Broncos might just have paid off.

A worthy goal. I support your efforts and hope for the best. I, alas, have had my underdog winstreak ended by the league's top team. Not a good week to have your starting qb, top two rb's, and one of your top 3 wr's have a bye week. :pinch: In happier news, the Raiders and the Browns won! Truly a sign of impending doom from the Frankenstorm.

Too blurry to say it's touching the line. And the palm of his glove is so dark it's hard to say conclusively that part of it is not touching the ground.
But I'll admit I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the offense.

But you aren't considered down if your hand touches the ground. So, does it even matter or count when it comes to determining a catch? It does matter for being considered in or out of bounds though, which is why it appears to be the correct call. Where is Berkut when you need him to chime in?
Regardless, Bryant needed to man up, wrap both arms around the ball to make sure of the catch, and let his fat ass hit the ground first for the touchdown, end of story. Hines Ward wouldn't have tried to break his fall because he understood what it took to win and be a great receiver. Hell, Bryant almost got his team a penalty for too many men in the huddle which I believe would have caused a 10 second run off ending the game. He is all about himself all the time.

Easy for you to say. That is a really tough instinct to fight against, especially if in that split second you misjudge your position and think your hand will be squarely in-bounds. Criticizing a receiver for something like this is pretty ridiculous.
I have a hard time criticizing the receiver for being 1-2 cm out of bounds with the tips of his fingers. Mind you, it's weird how this stuff always happens to Bryant. Between this and the two-point conversion vs Baltimore, maybe Romo should think about looking for Miles Austin when the game is on the line.
It is nobody's fault, well ok alot in that game was people's fault but not on that play, it is just part of the eternal curse of the Romo-led Cowboys.
Not just Romo, but every Cowboys team since Aikman hung it up. Quincy Carter and Drew Bledsoe weren't exactly setting the world on fire.

Just because the fingers appear to be over the line from that angle doesn't mean they're making contact with the ground. In. Con. Clues. Sieve.

The official sure thought it was conclusive. And it's not like we're talking about the Steelers or Patriots here, who get every possible call.
QuoteWith last night's win over the Washington Redskins, the Steelers are now 400-253-2 during the regular season since 1970. The Steelers are the first franchise to register 400 regular-season wins since the AFL-NFL merger. The next closest team to the 400-win milestone is the Miami Dolphins with 389 wins.
And just think: At least 200 of those wins were legitimately done without the refs.

The Dolphins have been terrible for a while, I'm surprised they're in second place, but that's a testament to their dominance in the 70s and later, Dan Marino.

We are 92-100 during the "bad times" (assuming this year is a real turnaround, which I think it is). That is hardly "terrible". There have been a couple really bad seasons (1-15, 4-12) and a couple bad seasons (2x 6-10), but for the rest of the period we have been between 7-9 and 11-5.
Yeah, let's remember that they did make the playoffs at one point. Won the division and everything, and then got obliterated by Baltimore in the playoffs.
