I did a search, didn't find if it was discussed before. Curious about it, wanted to see if anybody has used it.

I use it to stream porn and Pandora radio overseas.
The thing is, it is really slow. Really, really slow. And it's always on. And sometimes, you'll get to a site and it will say you are banned. I couldn't log on Bioware's site with Tor active because the IP used was banned. And it happenned a lot.
So when they made it "always on" for security reasons, I had to uninstall it.
But otherwise, it's a fine software doing what it advertizes.
Where does it differ from having a more conventional vpn?
It's published with a free BSD license. Also, like Viper says, it's slooow. When my NSLU was still alive I dedicated 10Mbit of my bandwidth to Tor. If everyone could do that it would probably work alot better.
10Mbit exceeds my total bandwith :P
