What it says on the tin, how many people are there at your homes? I'm curious to know if there's a divide amongst people living on their own and families.
For me, I live on my own, more than 5 years already and no changes in sight.
Three, counting me, but it will be four very soon.
Me, my wife, and for the time being my brother that is at business school.
I've been living on my own for less than 1 year.
Me and my two daughters. The oldest one is leaving for college in September.
It's been the 3 of us for 5 years now.
Just me.
Minus having to crash with Mom and Dad for a while over 10 years ago while I waited for my temporary tenants in my condo to move out, I've lived on my own since 1995.
I will never, ever live with another person. If I ever do, she better be hot as shit and a total fucking sex freak.
One that I know of.
Me, my wife, and my two sons. :)
I am living on my own.
Does katmai really count as one person?

And on the same Languish theme, for CdM - do you count the woman tied up under the bed? :P

No. They are of a transient nature.

Just me.
Lots of loners here. I wonder how many cats per capita.
I would be a loner too if I weren't married though.
Me, sugartits and Olaf and Weylund (our sons).

That's what I was suspecting, that most of us live on our own, even if there are plenty of families around.

Gangsta kitty is not a person? :(

Our relationship is...complex.
47 deadbeats. Oh, wait, I did that already, and recently.

3. :Embarrass:
Well, 5 if you count the downstairs ones. So 1.7 per person, so it's actually okay, since the rule is no more than 2 per individual. :)
Then there's the 3 dogs, the 2 turtles, and the fish. :bleeding:
I'm at 3:3 right now. I was thinking it would stay even with the three-legged bitch dying about the same time my oldest went off to school but it seems the cat wants to torture me longer than that.
I would be really worried if the cats got along when they hit the majority but they all hate each other so I think the youngest and I are safe, I am pretty sure we can beat them off one a a time.
As long as the youngest doesn't turn on me, she does like animals more than humans.

Because you lack the capacity for love? That's cool.

A cat is last animal to show any capacity for love, i'd be better off with a lizard.

Trying to deal with all these fleas is making me lose that capacity.
We're down to four people, three cats, and two guinea pigs. If the daughter doesn't come home from Louisiana soon, however, we may be down two guinea pigs. <_<
It's actually pretty weird that it's just the four of us now. I mean, Jak comes to visit often enough, but when he's gone for a week, it just feels so strange. Plus, Jeremy is learning what being an only child is like this summer - regarding chores - and doesn't care much for it.
When the rotation is one, that means you always have to do the dishes, bro. Suck it!

Well four people (man - still sounds strange to say), 2 dogs, one cat. So thats 0.25 cats per capita here.

So very alone......
Which is good. Not looking forward to the idea of living with someone

Same.
Not counting my best "straight" friend crashing at my flat for about 3 months in 2000, and my 30-day long attempt at hippie-style living with 6 other people in a big flat in 2001, I have been living on my own ever since I moved out of my parents' house in 2000. And not regretting it.

I am pretty sure that Al Bundy would disagree that being married with children is winning at life...

Six people. Moving to a three bed where I'll be one of four in August though.
