Just opened Steam to look at the daily deals and its apparently Paradox weekend on Steam which as everyone knows one franchise a day will be going at hugely subtracted prices. First daily up is King Arthur series for 75% off. :bowler:
Everything else that isnt the daily is -50%.
Personally I hope to finally scrag EU3 with all expansions for a reasonable price. Even if the map sucks. :)
Thanks for the heads-up.
How can you tell what's on sale for 75% the other days?

I might pop on that Warlock game.
How playable is Victoria II?
Its shit.

Thanks Boner.
Pride of Nations is a bigger pile of shit.

Everything, or at least close to everything, is 50% off all weekend. Some things will be 75% off on certain days. If you want it that bad buy it now, you shouldn't be out more than a few bucks even if it does get even cheaper. If not wait for another sale another time.
Verdict on CK2?

Verdict on CK2?
I liked it, but got tired of of the endless civil war crap. Haven't played the newest patches.
See my short attention span AAR thread for the adventures of Adolf Hitler Welf and his brood.
CK2 is awesome and seems to be getting a decent amount of support. I would definitely recommend it at the price it is.

Yeah CKII is great. Definitely that best Paradox release in a long time if not ever.
If only there was a thread for these things. :hmm:
Todays daily -75% is Magicka. I suppose its a good deal considering it has about eleventy billion DLCs but unfortunately it isnt my cup of tea.
Dammit, just as I'm changing my credit card. I'm sorta interested in M&B Napoleonic Wars.

That's recommendable as well
Fun shooter!
Mount and Blade franchise 75% off on Steam.
For some reason that doesn't include Napoleonic Wars.

Probably still too new for that. Still 50% off.
And today we have CK as the daily deal. The whole bundle for 12.49. :)
I was hoping that would be today's deal... glad I waited. Picking it up now.
Ah what the hell I´ll just get the rest of the DLCs. At this price they are worth it. Shame Sword of Islam isnt out yet.
I bought all that shit. Better be fucking worth it, you bastards.

Same. If this is shit, I'm making a List.
I think the biggest thing to keep in mind as a CK2 noob, is that this is a people management game. It ain't that hard to advance the economic side of things, hell, it is pretty easy. But your realm is built, maintained, and lost on personal relations and manipulating the feudal system.
Be VERY mindful of de jure borders within your realm if you are a King. Dukes like their duchy nice, complete, and de jure.
