Tim article talked about printing it out of someone's house. Most people don't have a feed stock of titanium in their homes.

I am not quite sure why they call it "printing" and not "fusing titanium dust together with a laser and then coating it with a high-temperature plasma spray". That's somehow not what comes to my mind when I read printing.
