No it kills their posts.  :(
I tried Timmay just as an experiment, but it didn't kill the threads he started. :( :P
But I took him off as he such a valuable member, I didn't temporarily put two posters on the list and so far I'm enjoying the results. :D
You can't ignore me that easily, Mongers.
At another forum I use they have one and....in practice it didn't work for me.
It hides the posts of members but it still says "This post is hidden because X is on your ignore list"
and of course when those idiots are weighing in....the temptation is too high.

Yes, but you could with me, just think of all those inane posts about cycling that you could happily ignore. :P
I don't need no machine to tell me what to ignore! I am a man, goddammit, not some bot-loving, brie eating monster.

We don't have that many women here anyway.
It replaces posts with "You are ignoring this user. Show me the post" as well.
I assume that none of you can ignore me anyways.
I don't understand the point of an ignore feature. Does one have so little will that they can't ignore a post on their own?
I don't understand the point of an ignore feature. I mean, don't you have the willpower to just ignore a post on your own?
Everyone one who has ignored me, keeps on responding to my provocations posts, so clearly not.

Raz have you also considered people who don't ignore you posts, don't respond to them. ?
Because that's the feeling I get with mine in general. :P
Cuts down flamewars when one party thinks to avoid the other?

Actually it doesn't bother me. See, posting things
I think are clever and funny are good enough for me. One of the perks of being crazy is you always have an audience.

Why would we want to cut down on flame wars?

I find it incredibly useful at P'dox. It saves me from having to read so much stupid stuff, and from getting me so infuriated as to having to answer and getting bogged down. My work productivity greatly appreciates it.

I can live with that. I'll just impregnate his threads with more fun subjects.
I'm fucked!

Yet you continue to read posts at P'dox. :yeahright:
Hey this ignore function is turning out to be Really useful.
Jesus, I just ignored myself and suddenly I was worried what I was posting. Beware this power, people.
The ignore function has made this place slightly more tolerable. Yay.

Putting Timmay on ignore certainly drops the number of viewable threads.
I'm tempted to disable it. I enjoy watching the Internet Tough Guys weep and gnash their teeth about Tim threads.
Do we not have this anymore?
I wonder what PDH is posting about these days. :hmm:
No fucking clue. I put myself on ignore when the option became available.

I don't believe there is a ignore function, and you are all just making it up.
I have been blissfully Timmay-free, and enjoying it.
I put LaCroix on there. He's the only one.
I have no option/ability to ignore anyone :(
oh i know why, just saying :P

I don't see where it says only wags can so :blurgh:
Btw it has also been a while since I have seen any posts from Katmai.
